SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. — No arrests have been made in the December 7 murder of Heather Ciccone. The 21-year-old Spotsylvania County woman was found dead that morning in the front seat of her car.

“Detectives with the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office have followed up on numerous leads since her murder; however no arrests have been made at this time,” a sheriff’s office spokesperson said.

The reward for information that leads to an arrest in Ciccone’s murder has grown to $2,500 following a recent fundraiser.

“We urge anyone that has information about her murder to please contact a detective so we can have justice for Heather,” Ciccone’s family said in a statement.

Several days after her death, detectives released images of her car hoping someone saw the vehicle and could provide clues into her murder.

“The Criminal Investigations Division would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the vehicle on Sunday December 06, 2015 between the hours of 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.,” the Sheriff’s Office posted online. “If you have ANY information please contact Crime Solvers!!”
