A company in Spain claims their new smart mattress can detect if a partner is cheating all through an app on your smartphone.

The company, Durmet, says the Smarttress can send alerts to your smartphone when the bed is being used, including how many people are on it. The trick is the mattress uses 24 ultrasonic sensors to detect ‘suspicious activity.’

Its ‘Lover Detection System’ generates a 3D map to show which areas on the bed are receiving the greatest pressure and what movement is taking place, all in ‘real time, according to Daily Mail.

The company says the mattress has the looks and feel of a normal mattress, but inside has cutting edge technology to catch cheaters in the act.

If you are worried about whether you could catch your spouse in your own bed, surveys in Spain showed when someone cheats, 94% preferred to cheat at home.

‘It is a concept that will bring peace of mind to men and women, not just during the night but also during the day while they are out at work and the bed should really be being used,” said Jose Antonio Muinos, spokesman for Durmet.

The company says you can purchase the bed with the ‘upmost confidentially’ and at a $1,750 price tag. A five year warranty is also included with the mattress.
