3 charged with murder after body found in Louisa home

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. — Three men were arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Murder in the shooting death of Kevin Eugene Robinson. A family member found Robinson’s body inside a home on Oakland Road in Louisa on March 30. The body was covered in a blanket with only the lower part of his body visible.

“The family member was certain that Mr. Robinson had passed away, but thought he may have had a heart attack. The family member immediately called 911 and requested a rescue squad,” Louisa County Sheriffs Office Major Donnie Lowe said. “Upon arrival of the rescue squad and Sheriffs Deputy it was immediately determined that Robinson had died from multiple fatal gunshot wounds.”

While investigators said they were not yet sure who pulled trigger, or why. They added evidence at the crime scene showed there was a shootout between Mr. Robinson and his assailants.

Investigators released the names of three men arrested in connection with the fatal shooting:

“All three individuals are currently held without bond. Additional charges will be forthcoming,” Lowe said. “Details will be limited in the near future due to the nature of this ongoing investigation.”
