RICHMOND: The Dominion Family Easter at Maymont is one of Richmond's favorite Easter traditions. The family friendly event returns Saturday, March 26 from 10am -3pm on the Carriage House Lawn with the Easter Bunny, crafts, games, live entertainment and lots of family fun. This year there’s a new way to gather eggs, there are no more timed hunts instead kids will visit egg stations at their own pace and collect eggs in the Eggtivity Zone. They can participate in up to five egg station activities with the purchase of an Activity Pass, and each station guarantees one egg per play with a chance to win more. Some eggs will even contain a coupon for an “Eggstra” prize..
In addition to gathering eggs, kids can have fun getting Temporary Tattoos, making arts and crafts, Bonnet and Boa Making, face painting, and on the Inflatable Slide and Moon Bounce. Most activities are suitable for ages 4 to 10. Activity Passes are $10 may be purchased on the Carriage House Lawn at the ticket tent. Cash, check and credit card are accepted. An ATM machine will be available on-site during the event.
