WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Ozzy Osbourne, the Prince of Darkness, brought his considerable star power to Colonial Williamsburg. The rock and roll legend and his son Jack toured the historic tourist attraction last Friday and posed for pictures.

While in Williamsburg, the Osbournes tried out the new educational musket range and toured trade shops along DoG Street.

“We were indeed thrilled to have Ozzy and Jack Osbourne visit the Revolutionary City on Friday. Their visit underscores Colonial Williamsburg’s undiminished relevance and the broad appeal of our new and more engaging programming,” Colonial Williamsburg spokesman Joe Straw said.

Colonial Williamsburg has not yet said exactly why the Osbournes visited the area.

“Stay tuned for more on why they were here and when you’ll be able to see their adventures for yourself!” the Colonial Williamsburg Facebook page teased.

Earlier online reports indicated Ozzy and his son were filming a new television show.

“Late last year we learned that Ozzy Osbourne would be teaming up with his son Jack for a new show on the History channel. The show features the father and son duo traveling together and spoofing historic events,” RockFeed reported.

Ozzy has a considerable fan base in Central Virginia. Need proof? Here’s an old clip from the CBS 6 Video Vault from when Ozzy Osbourne played the Richmond Coliseum in 1989.
