Tree pollen levels skyrocket in central Virginia

Richmond, Va. — Tree pollen season has begun!  With more people opening windows this week due to the warm air, allergies have kicked into gear across Virginia.

Allergy Partners of Virginia have detected tree pollen since the beginning of March.  High levels were measured Wednesday morning.  The tree types responsible for most of the pollen include cedar, ash, maple and alder.
