Teen accused of pulling out gun, threatening people on school grounds

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- A teenager was charged with multiple gun-related crimes after he was found with a weapon on school grounds.

The indent allegedly happened at Manchester Middle School in the 7400 block of Hull Street Road Tuesday evening.

Police said the 15-year-old suspect pulled out a gun and pointed it at several victims.

No one was injured and officials have not released the victims’ ages.

It was unclear whether the teenager attended the middle school, or if he was just there after school hours. The arrest took place at 6:45 p.m. at a home, according to police records.

The 15-year-old male suspect was taken into custody and charged with four counts of brandishing a firearm in or around school, one count of carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, one count of possession of a firearm on school property and one count of possession of a firearm by persons under the age of 18, according to the police report.

Additionally, officials said the incident was not related to any afterschool activities.
