RICHMOND: The Third Annual Projekt for Progress is Thursday, March 10 and organizers plan for it to be bigger and better than 2015’s event. Again sponsored by the DJ Wiliams Projekt, the event will feature DJ Williams Band, guest Soloist Rachel Scott, silent auction, raffles and food.  And it’s all in support of ACE Liberia (Africa Community Exchange) and the Anne Sandell Independent School (ASIS) in Liberia.

Projekt for Progress is open to 21 and older and tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 or at the door for $20.  For tickets log onto https://www.eventbrite.com/e/projekt-for-progress-tickets-21454915229 and for more information about ACE Liberia visit http://www.aceliberia.org or check us out on Facebook.

Africa Community Exchange (ACE) began with a group of concerned, former Liberian residents now living in the United States who wanted to make a contribution to their country. Liberia had experienced 14 years of civil war and an Ebola crisis that have resulted in human despair. The group decided to create a non-profit organization that would serve as a bridge to connect Liberia education and health entities to resources that would help build capacity and improve quality of service. ACE is incorporated and qualified as a charitable organization, making gifts to it tax-deductible.
