HENRICO, Va. — Drivers could experience some delays while Broad Street gets paved.
Beginning overnight Sunday, March 6, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews will close alternating lanes on Broad Street/Route 250 eastbound between Parham Rd. (Rt. 73) and Staples Mill Rd. (Rt. 33)/the Richmond City line for milling and paving. Crews will work during overnight hours, between 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m., as weather permits.

The work will require seven-inch-deep milling throughout the four-mile corridor and may restrict access to locations during these hours.
The $3.5 million paving project is expected to be complete by the end of May. Individual lane closure information will be available in VDOT’s weekly highway alerts as the project progresses.
