The VCU Rams sent seniors Melvin Johnson and Korey Billbury out as winners in their final regular season home game with a 70-60 win over Davidson. The win clinches at least a share of the A-10 title for the Rams who were picked to finish 5th in the pre-season. Mo Alie-Cox had 18 points and 9 rebounds while Johnson added 16 in the win. VCU closes out their regular season at Dayton Saturday. A win over the Flyers gives them the outright regular season crown

Michaela Parsons scored 33 points as the Lady Spiders beat Davidson 70-51 in the opening game of the A-10 women's tournament at the Coliseum. Richmond will now take on VCU in the next round on Thursday afternoon.

St. Christopher's fell to St. Stephen's/St. Agnes in the quarterfinals of the boys VISAA tournament 79-71. Nick Sherod had 29 points in his final game for the Saints who close their season at 24-7.

St. Catherine's faced Trinity Episcopal 3 times this year, and won all three. They met for a fourth time in the girls bracket of the VISAA tournament where the Lady Titans finally got over on the Saints. Elaina Champman had 22 points and Angel Burgos added 16 more as Trinity advances to the semifinals.
