ATHENS, Ala. - No matter what side of the political aisle we stand, we all love pizza!

Joe's World Famous Pizzeria decided a Donald Trump pie was the way to go. From the hair to the laugh lines, this cheesy rendering is masterfully done. Credit goes to owner Joe Carlucci and Athens High student and artist Morgan Griess.

Griess sketched Trumps face on the cheese and Joe took it from there. It took the pair about two and half hours to complete the “The Donald.”

“Trump has taken a bite out of everyone so far … so maybe somebody will take a bite out of the pizza,” said Carlucci. “Or maybe we can make Mr. Trump a pizza and ship it to him!”

Carlucci says he plans to unveil a cast of 2016 political candidates for this Thursday's debate. Already the pizzeria has received a number of orders, near and far, for Trump pizzas. However, the process of making one political pizza is a multi-step and lengthy one. If you would like to order one of these pizza portraits you must get your order in 48-72 hours in advance. The cost is about $59 a pie and the money goes largely to the local artist who made the pies possible.

This isn’t the first time Carlucci has crafted a pie after a famous face. He’s done Tim Tebow, Nick Saban and Bear Bryant.

Joe’s World Famous Pizzeria is located at 1260 Highway 72 in Athens, Alabama.
