RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police launched a death investigation after a man was found dead inside a Church Hill home with what Richmond Police Chief Alfred Durham describes as, "obvious signs of trauma to the body." A relative came to the home in the 1300 block of North 29th Street Wednesday night, found the body and called police. Police responded to the scene, where they found a man dead inside the home with body trauma.
Police said the doors of the home where locked and seemed secure. At this time police are calling this a death investigation. Police asked for community's help in the investigation and if they saw anything suspicious in this area. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
