RICHMOND, Va. — Two men were arrested in connection to a triple shooting at a Richmond park that left one person with life-threatening injuries. Rashad J. Haskins, 23, of Missouri Avenue, and Rashad L. D. Bugg, 24, of Martin Avenue, were both charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

“As the investigation is in its early stages, detectives are not prepared to say how these two men are related to the shooting,” a Richmond Police spokesman said.

Police were called to Anne Hardy Plaza Community Park, in the 3300 block of 1st Avenue, at about 4:06 p.m. Tuesday after the shootout began.

“They quickly located two men, each with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound,” the police spokesman said. “Two minutes after the first call, another call was received that directed RPD officers to 2500 block of 3rd Avenue where they found another man with life-threatening gunshot wounds.”

Police said the shootings, which hospitalized all three men, appeared to have been part of a “domestic argument.”
