RICHMOND, Va. — Family members said 81-year-old Willis E. Harris, who had been missing since Thursday, was found safe Friday afternoon.

In fact, relatives said he had been at his niece’s house and she was unaware he had been reported missing.

Harris suffers from several health conditions and may appear confused, according to Richmond Police. Harris wandered away from his home in the 2900 block of Decatur Street Thursday morning.

“Harris is described as a black male with gray hair, 5-foot, 4-inches tall, weighing 140 pounds,” Richmond Police said. “He was last seen wearing a brown hat, brown corduroy pants, a golf sweater and a gray coat with fur.”
