SARASOTA, Fla. -- A Florida sheriff's deputy is used to seeing speeding cars on I-75, however Monday morning he saw something he didn’t expect --  a car barreling down the wrong side of the interstate at 70 miles per hour.

Investigators said the driver, 21-year-old driver Ryan Fleury, reeked of alcohol, spoke with slurred speech and was not wearing any shoes. Police documents show he had a blood alcohol content of .28, more than three times the legal limit.

Investigators said Fleury drove in the wrong direction for six miles without even knowing it. A judge ordered Fleury to be on supervised release and comply with random alcohol testing.
