Agents bust Va. man with 12 lbs. of ‘high grade’ weed, $18,000 in cash

WINCHESTER, Va. – A Virginia man is in jail after agents seized 12 pounds of “high-grade” marijuana from his car.

On February 19th, 2016 Agents with the Northwest Virginia Regional Drug and Gang Task Force obtained a Felony arrest warrant for

Agents with a drug and gang task force obtained an arrest warrant and then located Kevin Riley, operating his vehicle in Winchester.

Agents followed him to 700 block of South Kent Street in Winchester and apprehended Riley after he parked his vehicle.

A search of Riley and his vehicle revealed approximately 12 pounds of high grade marijuana and approximately $18,000 in cash, according to state police.

Task Force Agents seized the cash.

Riley was transported to the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.

He is charged with distribution of one pound of marijuana and possessing more than five pounds of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
