Man suffers non-life threatening injuries in Southside shooting

RICHMOND, Va. — Police are investigating a shooting in Richmond’s Southside Tuesday evening.

Richmond Police said they responded to reports of a shooting in the 5000 block of Snead Road around 5:45 p.m. When officers arrived they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery.  He is currently suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

There is no information on a possible suspect at this time.
