Truck on I-95 spins into trees after ice flies off work truck

RICHMOND, Va. – A driver whose truck spun out along Interstate 95 at 288 in Richmond said a work truck is to blame.

The driver of the truck, who did not wish to be identified, said ice from the top of a Fed Ex truck was hitting vehicles.

The ice hit the driver’s windshield and took out his wiper.

That’s when he lost control of the vehicle.

He said he crossed two lanes and spun out into some trees.

Virginia State Police responded to the scene. The truck was towed away,

The driver was not injured.
