RICHMOND, Va. -- Three teenagers were hurt in an apparent drive-by shooting Thursday evening in South Richmond. Police described the shooting victims as two 15-year-old males and one 16-year-old  male. The teenagers said they were walking along the 200 block of East 18th Street when they were shot.

"A red sedan pulled up and a passenger fired shots," a Richmond Police spokesman said. "The vehicle drove from the area towards Jefferson Davis Highway."

When officers arrived, at about 6:04 p.m., they found one of the teenagers on East 13th Street. The other two teenagers were found in the 1900 block of Albany Avenue.

"I saw much of the neighborhood was roped off with police tape, a crime investigation van outside and two patrol cars," neighbor Michael Hall said. "To hear some sort of gun violence that happened here on this street is quite surprising."
