To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Super Bowl, the NFL is sending out golden footballs to high schools across the country who either had a coach or player make to the Super Bowl. On Thursday, Petersburg High received their official golden football to commemorate Ricky Hunley's two Super Bowl appearance.
Also at PHS, the school announced that Mike Scott will return to be the Head Football Coach of the Crimson Wave. Scott coached the Wave from 2008-2011, leading the school to two playoff appearances.
