CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va -- Chesterfield Police say threats made against Manchester High School were not found to be credible.
Police said they looked into the online threats after being made aware of them. After an investigation, they found the rumors were not substantiated.
Police also said no extra officers had been requested at Manchester High School for Friday.
Several parents reached out to CBS 6 Thursday night and early Friday morning, saying rumors about the threats were circulating on social media. The nature of the threats was not immediately clear.
