HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — One woman was taken to the hospital after her car hit the front of Good Foods Grocery at Gayton Crossing shopping center on Gaskins Road. The woman’s condition has not yet been released. The car did not enter the building, according to an employee who answered the phone at the store. The vehicle did jump up onto the sidewalk and strike the store.

A building inspector was called out to inspect the damage.

The employee said the grocery store remained open after the incident, however customers had to use an alternate entrance.

Henrico Fire and EMS crews were called to the shopping center just after 2 p.m.
