Man breaks into woman’s Henrico home, strangles her, takes money and car

HENRICO, Va. – Henrico Police made a domestic-related arrest on Sunday, Jan. 31. Keith Lamont Wright, age 50, faces multiple charges after police said he forced his way into the residence in the 3200 block of E. Laburnum Avenue.

Police said he assaulted the victim and then took her vehicle and currency.

Wright has been charged with burglary, robbery, carjacking, strangulation, and extortion.

Police did not detail how the two knew one another.

Wright was also charged for driving without a license because it was revoked and possession of marijuana.
