GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. — A Louisa man is in police custody and has been charged with the murder of a Goochland County man in March 2015.
Kevin L Parrish, 44, has been charged with the first degree murder of Alvin Lynn Brooking, 62.
Brookings body was discovered by a family member in his home on the morning of March 2.
Parrish was currently incarcerated in the Pamunkey Regional Jail on unrelated charges. His first court appearance for this case will be on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Goochland Circuit Court.
