Richmond, Va. — December 2015 was the warmest December on record in Richmond history, but January 2016 will go down in the books as a bit cold and snowy.

Although there were some warm days, including a high of 65° on January 10 and a warm final day of the month, much of the month had below normal high and low temperatures.   The average high for the month was around 45° and the average low was around 26°.
