Virginia Tech freshman charged in abduction of missing 13-year-old girl

BLACKSBURG, Va. — Police have arrested a Virginia Tech student in connection with the disappearance of a missing 13-year-old girl earlier this week in Blacksburg, Virginia.

WSET reportedBlacksburg police charged freshman David Eisenhauer, 18, with felony abduction in Nicole Lovell’s disappearance.

Eisenhauer was arrested Saturday morning and is being held at the Montgomery County Jail without bond.

WDBJ reportedpolice said in an afternoon news conference that students at Virginia Tech may notice an increased police presence on campus.

Lovell vanished Wednesday, Jan. 27 from her home in the Lantern Ridge area in Blacksburg. Her mother told police she thinks the girl climbed out of her bedroom window sometime between midnight and 7 a.m.

Police continue to ask for the public’s help locating Lovell.

Nicole is 4 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 125 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair. Her brown hair is slightly past shoulder and she has a tracheotomy scar on her throat.

She was last spotted wearing black jeans, grey striped Mossy Oak shirt and brown and pink “Fat Baby” boots. Additionally, she may also have a blue blanket with yellow “Minions” animated characters.

Lovell is without her daily prescribed medication daily from a previous liver transplant and is believed to be in danger.
