HANOVER COUNTY, Va. -- Two students were charged with misdemeanor assault after assaulting a teacher during a fight Thursday morning at Patrick Henry High School, Hanover County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Christopher Stem said. The students were among several students involved in multiple fights that morning.
"It was reported that approximately 7 to 10 students were involved in separate altercations at the same time," Stem said. "The teacher attempted to break up two students fighting when the assault occurred."
The two students were released to their guardians and will soon appear in Hanover Juvenile Court.
