RICHMOND, Va. – Regal Theaters have launched a new customer reward card program, which will first debut in the south.
The new Crown Club offers more rewards for customers.
Movie fans can earn credits towards free tickets, concessions – including popcorn and soda upgardes — and their favorite movie swag. Each registered Crown Club member will receive free popcorn on their birthday.
Regal will also offer “Discount Days” at concessions. Crown Club members receive 25% off candy on Mondays and 50% off any size popcorn on Tuesdays.
In addition to unlimited credit earning, members now get rewards for the amount of times they visit a Regal theater.
After six or more visits per year, Crown Club members receive 250 bonus credits each visit. After 10 or more visits per year they receive 500 bonus credits each visit and after 20 or more visits per year, they receive 1000 bonus credits each visit.
“The NEW Regal Crown Club was revitalized to provide outstanding loyalty program rewards and experiences for our movie loving guests,” stated Kelly Hawkins, vice president of loyalty marketing at Regal Entertainment Group. “With the Crown Club, our members can choose the rewards they love – more rewards, unlimited credits and even more options. We are thrilled to launch the program in the south.”
A company rep said that with almost 14 million active members, their Crown Club is the largest movie theater loyalty program in the world.
Regal Entertainment has 7,369 screens in 572 theaters in 42 states along with Guam, American Samoa and D.C. There are six in the Richmond-metro area.
