Earthquake rocks parts of Virginia, West Virginia

BOLIVAR, WV -- The United States Geological Survey reports a magnitude 3.0-earthquake shook parts of Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia on Sunday afternoon.

The earthquake was centered about 45 miles northwest of Washington, D.C., and about two miles southeast of Bolivar, West Virginia. It happened at around 2:12 Sunday afternoon.
