Man shot while sitting in car parked in Henrico driveway

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after he was shot in his Henrico driveway. The man was approached by two men while in the car along the 4900 block of Bethlehem Road,  near Staples Mill Road, before 10:30 Monday night. The man was shot around his neck and the two suspects ran away from the home. The shooting victim ran inside the house to get help.

The man was transported to a local hospital where he was listed has having non-life-threatening injuries.

CBS 6 reporter Jon Burkett responded to the shooting and said police dogs were tracking scents, looking for the shooters. Airplanes flew overhead searching for the suspects. Henrico Police are still investigating and have not yet released information about the shooting.
