Police seeking public’s help to identify man wanted for slashing tires in the fan

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man wanted for slashing tires in the fan.

Police said at approximately 3:50 a.m. on January 1, the man was walking in the 500 and 600 blocks of Ryland Street and used a knife to slash tires on three vehicles. He is also suspected of slashing tires on a vehicle on Franklin Street and on a vehicle on Grace Street nearby.

The suspect is described as a white male with dark hair and a beard. During the incident in question, he was seen wearing a rumpled suit.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about this man’s identity to call Third Precinct Detective Greg Sullivan at (804) 646-1950 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
