Missing 9-year-old in King William County found safe

KING WILLIAM, Va. — Deputies in King William County have found the missing 9-year-old safe Friday night. No other details have been released at this time.

The boy was missing in the area of Churchville and Mt Olive Cohoke Rd. He is described as a black boy weighing 80 pounds and around 4 feet 2 inches tall. The boy was last seen wearing a black jacket and jeans.

There are multiple officers, search teams and tracking dogs searching in the area. Police are asking for community member to not help search at this time as they want to allow the tracking dogs to search without additional interference.
