RICHMOND, Va. -- Paying it forward couldn’t have come at a better time for some Greyhound customers who were traveling for the holidays.

Reporter Sandra Jones wanted to help some travelers during the CBS 6 Month of Giving. The CBS 6 news team is in the community all month, helping people through random acts of kindness. We hope those who are helped will be inspired to pay it forward. If you've been inspired to pay it forward, click here to share your story.

There was a line of travelers inside the Greyhound station on Boulevard, and Sandra walked up to one lady and said, “We would like to pay for your two tickets.”

“That’s gonna be on us,” Sandra added.

The woman and her husband were traveling to New Jersey.
