AMELIA COUNTY, Va. — A Virginia State Police Trooper suffered minor injuries after collided with another vehicle while on its way to a call in Amelia County.
Police said around 7 p.m. Trooper N. Elsesser was responding to assist the Amelia County Sheriff’s Office with a domestic call, as the trooper approached the intersection of Route 360 and Goodes Bridge Road with emergency lights activated it collided with another vehicle.
The trooper was transported to Chippenham Hospital with minor injuries; no other injuries were reported.
The crash is under investigation.
