PETERSBURG, Va. — Police in Petersburg say missing 49-year-old woman who vanished on Christmas Day has been found safe.
Officials said Franceltinia Walker, who was last seen Friday at 10 p.m. in the Flank Road area, has been without her medication since she left home.
Police said Walker was located in Petersburg around 7 p.m. Saturday evening and was being taken home.
Officials said Walker may have been traveling on foot and headed to Surry or Dinwiddie counties.
