DANVILLE, Va. — Deputy Charmine Dickerson died at VCU Medical Center Wednesday, according to the Danville Sheriff’s Office. The five-year veteran had recently given birth to a baby girl, but remained in the hospital after she suffered complications.
“Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of our sister Deputy, and our prayers are with her family as they deal with her passing. Deputy Dickerson, you served your community well. May you Rest In Peace,” the Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook.
