HOUSTON -- Police in Texas are using a dog to find child porn stored on computers. The specially-trained dogs can smell the adhesive found in electronic storage devices, like thumb drives and SD cards where child porn is often kept hidden, according to a report from KHOU.

"We have found that there have been storage devices in safes under the slab of somebody's home, they hide it very well," Montgomery County  Constable Ryan Gable said.

An aptly-named "porn dog" was used in the child porn investigation that led to the arrest of Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle.

"They went in and collected things and didn't find what they were looking for, and that's when they called in this canine dog to come in and assist and on the second round he found the devices that they were looking for," Tyler Dunman, with the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, said. "Porn dog sniffed it out, it worked perfectly."
