HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- A Henrico man is behind bars after a high speed police chase on I-95 and Route 301 in Henrico County.
Izaiah Derival, 19, has been charged with reckless driving and felony eluding a police officer.

Police said Monday at approximately 12:42 p.m. a Virginia State Trooper was in the middle lane of I-95 northbound at the 80 mile marker when a 2006 BMW passed the trooper going 88 mph in a posted 55 mph zone.
When the trooper turned on their emergency lights and siren the BMW continued away in an out of traffic, not stopping for the trooper. The vehicle exited the interstate at Parham road exit 83a and continued down to Route 301, where the driver lost control in the median.
Derival was arrested without incident and transported to the Henrico County jail.
