Richmond, Va. — High pressure will sit overhead Sunday, producing clear skies and calm winds. Temperatures will drop down into the low and mid 20s for the majority of the area. Some of our colder spots will dip into the upper teens.
These low temperatures will be the coldest since last March:
Unlike Saturday, highs Sunday should be back to near 50°. Warmer weather will overtake the area for the coming week. Thursday will set new record low and high temperatures. A cold front passing through Christmas Eve will bring slightly cooler temperatures for Christmas Day.
