CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Missing Clover Hill High School student Amber Pecan was found safe last night in Richmond, her mother reported Thursday morning. Amber, 17, had not been seen since Sunday night, her mother said. She said she believed her 17-year-old daughter ran away with her teenage boyfriend.

“Thank you for everyone’s prayers, thoughts, support and sharing of her flyer. Because of everyone she was found!!” Jeannie Mullins Pecan said. “I can not express the overwhelming love and support I got from everyone from coast to coast. It was absolutely amazing! I get choked up when I think about it. God Bless all of you and I hope you all have an amazing holiday season and hug and kiss your kids!”
