RICHMOND, Va. — A woman had to be extricated from her SUV Wednesday morning after a crash at the intersection of Patterson Avenue onto Glenburnie Road in west Richmond.
“At approximately 7:53 a.m., an SUV attempting to turn from eastbound Patterson onto Glenburnie collided with a sedan driving westbound on Patterson,” a Richmond Police spokesman said. “Both vehicles sustained major damage.”
The man driving the car was treated at the scene. The woman driving the SUV was extricated by the Richmond Fire Department. She was taken to the local hospital with injuries that are considered non-life threatening. Charges against her are possible pending the outcome of the police investigation, the Richmond Police spokesperson said.
