A vet practice has unleashed its new digs near the Diamond.
Helping Hands opened last month at 1605 Rhoadmiller St., in the warehouse area off Hermitage Road, after relocating from Carytown.
Owners Lori Pasternak and Jackie Morasco bought the 12,800-square-foot property in June and are renovating it using historic tax credits. Pasternak’s husband Jake helps run the business.
Helping Hands does advanced surgeries and dental care for animals. It was previously located at smaller space at 3402 W. Cary St., where it had been for about five years before its last day in October. Jim Ashby of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer said Verizon is taking over the Carytown space.
