CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- A Chesterfield family was able to escape their burning home unharmed early Tuesday. Fire crews responded to the house fire, along the 10000 block of Reedy Branch Road, near Nash Road, at about 6:55 a.m.
When fire crews first arrived at the home, they found flames shooting through the roof. Firefighters said they had most of fire under control by 8 a.m. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
