RICHMOND, Va. — Zachary loves to be on the go. He is an outdoor type of guy who likes to take long walks, ride his bike, play basketball or go to the pool. Summertime and camping really makes him extremely happy. But he does have his quiet moments with video games and making lots of different toys out of Legos.

Zachary did very well in school the past year. Quiet time for him also means the opportunity to draw all sorts of characters and scenery. Zachary can be helpful around the house by taking out the trash and keeping his room orderly without a lot of monitoring.

This young guy says his favorite time of year is Christmas with lots of company, good food and tons of gifts. Speaking of food, Zachary’s favorite food is fried chicken with lots of hot sauce.

Zachary has a twin brother, Zaire whom he desires to be placed and adopted with. Currently, the two are not placed together. Zaire who likes to devour lots of Pizza and snack food is handy around the house and also loves outdoor activities such as biking, skating and going to the beach.

Please find it in your heart to reunite these two young men and give them a loving home!

In Virginia, we have over 860 children who are ready for foster to adoption. In other words, these children are ready to find their permanent and loving forever families. As Connecting Hearts -The Deborah J Johnston Foundation celebrates National Adoption Month, our “30 Kids in 30 Days” initiative is to bring awareness to 30 kids who are available for forever homes, but also to shed light on the other 830 children who may not be seen. Our kids are all ages and races, they were put in foster care due to no fault of their own.
