RICHMOND, Va. — Zaire likes to devour lots and lots of pizzas and snack food. He will wrinkle his nose at the thought of eating “school lunches,” preferring to pack a lunch each day. Zaire is very handy about the house with sweeping, taking out the trash and picking up out-of-place things in his room. He is not always neat as he really likes playing outside and really does not mind getting dirty. Outdoor activities include bike riding, skating and going to the beach. The perfect quiet time for Zaire includes reading, playing video games and building with Legos.

This young man likes the organized routine of attending Sunday school and church services. Zaire hopes that his new family would belong to a church so he can continue this lifestyle.

Zaire has a twin brother, Zachary whom he desires to be placed and adopted with. Zachary loves to be on the go and is an outdoors kind of guy. He enjoys taking long walks, biking, playing basketball and going to the pool. Summertime and camping makes Zachary extremely happy.

These two young men would love nothing more than to be reunited and adopted together. Please find it in your heart to reunite these two and give them a loving home!

In Virginia, we have over 860 children who are ready for foster to adoption. In other words, these children are ready to find their permanent and loving forever families. As Connecting Hearts -The Deborah J Johnston Foundation celebrates National Adoption Month, our “30 Kids in 30 Days” initiative is to bring awareness to 30 kids who are available for forever homes, but also to shed light on the other 830 children who may not be seen. Our kids are all ages and races, they were put in foster care due to no fault of their own.
