RICHMOND, Va. — When overnight delivery is just too slow, Amazon now offers one-hour delivery in Richmond and surrounding counties. Amazon Prime Now is available from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week for Amazon Prime members. The service’s two-hour delivery is free for members, one-hour delivery costs $7.99.

“Prime Now is launching in Richmond and surrounding area zip codes today from Doswell to Colonial Heights and from the West End to the airport,” a company spokesperson stated. “Prime members can download the Prime Now app, available on iOS and Android devices, and will be notified when the service is available in their zip code.”

Household items like paper towels are available via Amazon Prime Now, as are food, toys and electronics.
