UberHEALTH offering free flu shots for up to 10 people

RICHMOND, Va. -- Uber is bringing house calls back to the city of Richmond with UberHEALTH, offering free flu shots Thursday.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. you can order an UberHEALTH wellness pack for $10 using the Uber app and receive a free flu shot from a registered nurse for up to 10 people ages four and up.

Uber HealthThe Wellness pack includes an UberHEALTH water bottle, tissues, hand sanitizer, lollipop and recyclable UberHEALTH tote.

Uber asks users to select a suitable indoor location prior to UberHEALTH arriving. If you request a shot, the nurse will handle all paperwork and consent forms.

All vaccinations will be administered by a registered nurse through Passport Health.

Richmond is one of 35 cities nationwide where Uber is offering this service Thursday.
