It’s the Christmas sweater made “ugly” now by harsh criticism.

Target is facing backlash for selling ‘OCD: Obsessive Christmas Disorder’ holiday sweaters. Some customers say the theme makes fun of those who suffer from mental illnesses.

The red, white and green sweater is on sale for $22.40. It was originally $27.99.

Many mental health advocates said sales of the sweater make light of people who suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. They said it is a  serious mental disorder and should not be mocked.

Others felt like the joke was simply that, and a play on acronyms wasn’t intended to be offensive.
