CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- When the Virginia High School League football playoffs begin Friday night, the L.C. Bird Skyhawks will look to win their fourth straight state title. Their first match-up will be against with the Matoaca Warriors.

In this particular game has split one local household right down the middle, for at least one week.

Matoaca High School wide receiver Terrence Whitfield and L.C. Bird linebacker Isaiah Moore are step brothers.

"It's going to be a difficult game," Whitfield said about the family affair. "We're going to fight through and do what we need to do to get the win."

"It's going to be fun," Moore countered. "We're just going to be going back and forth like we always do."

The students think their parents are going to split up and root for different teams on Friday night.
