RICHMOND, Va. – A bomb threat emptied the John Marshall Courthouse, according to police.
The building was evacuated after a threat was made just before 11 a.m. on Friday. The Richmond Police bomb squad responded to the scene in the 400 block of North 9th Street.
Officers helped evacuate the building and closed immediate streets around the courthouse to accommodate the investigation, police said.
